How to do Easy Seat
A beginner seated pose, step by step.
- 1Sit on the floor and cross your shins, each foot under the opposite knee.
- 2Sit up on a cushion or folded blanket so the hips lift above the knees.
- 3Let the knees settle toward the floor and the pelvis tip slightly forward.
- 4Stack the spine tall and rest the hands on the knees or in the lap.
- 5Soften the shoulders and the jaw, and let the breath slow.
